I recently had the privilege of trying some products from Heartland Fragrance Company. I had heard of them on Twitter, and from other Beauty Bloggers, and it was nothing but good things. I was so excited to get the package from them and try the wonderful soap, and everything I had heard was SO TRUE!

The soaps I received were Morning Songbird Exfoliating Loofa Soap  and Mighty Good Man Olive Oil Soap. I used the Loofa soap and I passed the Olive Oil soap on to hubby since it was a “manly” soap.  The Loofa soap is, in short, luxurious! The website describes it’s scent as “ Notes of water lily and freesia mingle in this soft floral with an aquatic twist”. It is fresh, and floral, and vibrant. When I opened the package, I could actually smell this soap through it’s packaging. (speaking of packaging, when I got the soaps, I got so excited I forgot to take pictures of the soaps before we used them!)

The soap lathers like crazy, and leaves your skin smelling so nice!

The best part is the loofah. There is an actual THICK loofah slice in the soap. They pour the glycerin over it, and it is embedded in it. Let me tell you, if you have never tried loofah, you MUST. It feels so good on your skin. It exfoliates, and polishes and gets your blood pumping. You step out of the shower feeling tingly and invigorated. That in combination with the wonderful scent, it is a must have.

The Mighty Good Man Olive Oil Soap smells good, even to me! The website describes it as “With top notes of herbal green and mandarin followed by basil, geranium, and sage, this natural handcrafted bar summons up the best of the woodsy and complements it with warmth.  With eight beneficial oils offering a moisturizing skin boost, the Mighty Good Man Natural Olive Oil Soap Bar pampers even the most particular of gentlemen.” It also has some sort of exfoliating particles in it, BONUS! Now, my hubby isn’t much for froo-froo bath stuff, but he really enjoys this soap. He likes the smell, and he says it lathers very nicely. For him to say anything at all,is a pretty big deal!

Aren’t the soaps beautiful? Everything they make is hand poured, and that isn’t all they offer! They have bath salts, the CUTEST soaps with rubber duckies built into them, and a selection of fragrances that are very unique! (Blood orange, White ginger? YUM!)
